Warranty Policy

This Limited Warranty is provided by Treevy Marketing Limited (ShopTreevy.com) and applies to products purchased directly from ShopTreevy.com. By purchasing a product or using this website, you agree to the terms of this Warranty.

1. Warranty Coverage

ShopTreevy products are covered by a limited warranty that protects the original purchaser against defects in workmanship under normal use. The applicable Warranty Period varies by product and will be disclosed on the product listing, delivery receipt or other documentation provided at the time of purchase.

1.1 This Warranty Policy applies only to products listed in the Electronics and Small Appliances categories on ShopTreevy.com.

1.2 This Warranty applies only to products purchased directly from ShopTreevy.com and only to the original purchaser. The Warranty is non-transferable.

1.3 If a defect arises and a valid claim is submitted within the applicable Warranty Period, ShopTreevy will, at its sole discretion:
   (a) repair the defective product at no charge,
   (b) exchange the product with a new or refurbished product of equal or greater value, or
   (c) issue store credit in lieu of repair or replacement.

2. Exclusions and Limitations

This Warranty does not cover:

  • Damage resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, or modification.
  • Damage caused by unauthorized repairs or alterations.
  • Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, fading).
  • Consumable items (including food, beverages, supplements and hygiene-related products).
  • Clearance, promotional, or final-sale items marked as “non-returnable” or “as is.”
  • Items in the Fashion or Health and Wellness categories

3. Warranty Claim Procedure

3.1 To initiate a Warranty claim, Customer must notify ShopTreevy during the Warranty Period by emailing [email protected] and providing:
- Proof of purchase (order number, receipt, or invoice).
- A detailed description of the defect, along with photographic or video evidence.

3.2 ShopTreevy reserves the right to inspect the product before approving a Warranty claim. Customers may be required to return the product to ShopTreevy for evaluation.

3.3 Shipping and handling costs for returning the product are the responsibility of the Customer. If the claim is approved, ShopTreevy will cover the cost of delivering/shipping the replacement or repaired product to the Customer.

4. Limitation of Liability

4.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShopTreevy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of its products, including but not limited to loss of profits, business interruption, or personal injury.

4.2 ShopTreevy’s liability under this Warranty is strictly limited to the repair, replacement, or store credit of the defective product, as determined in its sole discretion.

5. Governing Law

This Warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Trinidad and Tobago, without regard to conflict of law principles.

6. Severability

If any provision of this Warranty is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

7. Voiding of Warranty

7.1 This Warranty shall be considered null and void if:

  • The product has been subjected to misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, or improper installation.
  • The product has been altered, modified, or repaired by any person or entity not authorized by ShopTreevy.com
  • The product has been used in a manner inconsistent with its intended purpose or in violation of the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • The original proof of purchase cannot be provided, or the product serial number (if applicable) has been removed, altered, or defaced.
  • Damage results from exposure to extreme environmental conditions, including but not limited to moisture, heat, or corrosive substances.

7.2 Once voided, the Customer shall have no rights under this Warranty, and Treevy Marketing/ShopTreevy.com shall have no further obligation to repair, replace, or provide store credit for the product.

Relationship to Return & Refund Policy

This Warranty does not extend or modify ShopTreevy’s Return & Refund Policy. Returns and refunds are only available within 48 hours of purchase, as outlined in our Return & Refund Policy in our FAQs section. Warranty claims made after this period will be handled exclusively through repair, replacement, or store credit. Refunds are not available under this Warranty.
